OK. So I'm showing Greg the Xbox 360...he's pretty excieted to see Gears of War because he has seen the sweet commercials. You know...the one with the robot dog....wait what. Robot dog? Whozzat? So all day long I'm racking my brains trying to figure out what the hell game he's been seeing ads for.

Here's what he knows:d

1. He is fairly sure it has "War" in the title.
2. He knows there is a Robot dog with Green eyes.
3. The enemies are humanoid...but wear masks...

I could not think of what it was...can you?

Well I was sitting in my "fortress of solitude" enjoying my latest issue of Game Informer Magazine when I saw this an add for Killzone: Liberation. What do I see but a damn dog with Body armor...could this be our game?

Sure enough, a quick parusal of the Killzone Liberation official website lists the Helghast attack dog as one of the main characters. Anyway here's a screen grab of the dog:

The funny thing is that Greg saw this on like ABC. And as much as I watch stations that are deluged with video game ads I have never seen it. So does that mean that the average PSP owner only watches Top Chief of the cooking channel? Strange...at least I didn't lose any sleep over that dog gone mystery.
