According to Side Line, Nitzer Ebb is fixing to release their first studio album in more than a decade.
They've brought back Jason Payne, the drummer on the ironically titled album Big Hit to replace Kourtney Klein which is too bad because one can never have too much when it comes to sexy drummer fraus.
But the part of this story that really makes me join in the chant is the fact that this album will be produced by none other than Flood. Who, aside from working on aside from producing Nitzer Ebb's best albums also worked on arguably the best albums by Depeche Mode, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Cabaret Voltaire, Psychic TV, and more recently Placebo and GoldFrapp.
The icing on the cake is that this album will include the song "Once You See" which includes ol' Martin Gore from Depeche Mode on backup vocals.
Not only all that but the article mentions that this album won't effect the release of the next Fixmer/McCarthy album which is slated to come out soon.
So looks like I have a few more CDs to buy before the format totally dies.
