Incredible Bionic Commando Rearmed soundtrack available for download.

Well, like I'm sure many of my fellow retro game enthusiasts, I downloaded Bionic Commando last night. And it did not disappoint. I haven't been this geeked out over a game since, I dont' know when. Maybe since, well since ever. It's such a great remake. I wish Commando and 1942 could have been this good.

Becca, who was a big NES gamer, had never heard of Bionic Commando before. I was a little suprised by that. I said, "we'll start it up and you'll see". She did not see, but that's OK.

Here one comment was, "I dont' know about the gameplay, but the music is awesome." And I have to agree. The music for this game is spectacular.

Luckily, The official Capcom Blog has posted links to a couple of site where you can buy the Bionic Commando sound track.

I don't have an ipod so I avoid itunes, but they claim that it's posted on Apple's music store.

I downloaded the sound track from Sumthing Digital. The sound quality is great, I'm listening to it right now and I have not complaints. I'm going to load it on my MP3 player for the bike ride home, headphones are usually a better way to determine sound quality. So I'll let you know.

Sumthing Digital also has the original NES Bionic Commando soundtrack posted as well. It's only 2.99, at that price you basically have no choice but to pick it up.

It's true, the new soundtrack is incredible. The game is fun too, but every since they put the soundtrack out, I've been streaming it using their music player at home and work. I need to bite the bullet and just purchase it.

Playing the game really takes me back to being a kid. Sometimes a simple formula (gun, mechanical arm, lots of things to swing from!) is the best.
