Mortal Kombat cosplayer puts duct tape and liquid latex to nerdy use!

It's kind of hard to imagine that someone reading this who is a video game fan isn't also reading Kotaku. So it makes my constant reposting seem kind of silly. But I guess I'm posting this more for my friends who aren't big video game fans.

But then that seems sort of dumb because why would they be that interested in Cos Play. And the answer is, I'm not sure. But I got a lot of outside hits and responses when I posted up pictures of that Big Red Jedi and that amazing Cortana cosplay a few months ago, so I figure that someone out there is getting their video game news from BGNR and missing out on Kotaku.

So for those 15 to 20 of you (who mostly appear to be from former soviet bloc countries if my site meter analytics are to be believed. I give you the latest from Kotaku's Maximum Risky column. This is Marie - Claude Bourbonnais, a latex fetish model posing as Frost from Mortal Kombat.

Otomedius Gorgeous DLC adds a couple new additions to it's roster of questionable choices in combat pilots..

Before I could even finish accusing Kotaku of being the most "Fan Service Friendly" enthusiast site on the web than they go and post up some anime boobs in an effort to peel some traffic away from the constant GDC updates on other sites.

Naturally, the discussion is boob focused. In this case the game Kotaku has dubbed a "Boob-Shooter", Konami's Japanese (for now) XBLA game Otomedius Gorgeous. I blogged about this game back in october when it was released, but now it appears that there is some DLC coming out which will be adding two new characters.

The original post was pretty popular, so I see no reason not to post up screen shots of these new characters in an effort to continue driving traffic to my site from the middle east, which according to Site Meter is has a lot of Anime Fans. Anyway, where ever you're from, enjoy:

Tough economic times have had no ill effects on Tecmo's Breat Physics R n D team.

I gotta hand it to Destructoid, they are second only to Kotaku in keeping the world, ahem, abreast of developments in the world of digital fiddly bits.

Editorial Note: HOLY CRAP! That's just obnoxious. I was kind of hoping that the loss of Tomonob Itagaki would calm down tecmo's breast fetish, but I can see that it has not. I mean seriously. Seriously. This chick is a mutant.

And at their latest "human interest" piece is no different. The post several jiggltronic Screenshots from the forthcoming PS3 version of Ninja Gaiden 2 and effortlessly justify it with some actually interesting tidbits about the newly implemented co-op mode. Apparently this mode will will see series protagonist Ryu fighting along side Ayane from Dead or Alive as well as a character named Momiji who was in the DS version.

Becca and I played Ninja Gaiden Black for about 15 minutes. Then we got to the first boss, then we stopped playing Ninja Gaiden. I gotta hand it to Tecmo, these games look great, but they are really just to damn hard, at least for me. I'm sure some folks out there like the challenge, but I only have so much time to play video games, and spending three hours to beat a first level boss isn't how I'm going to spend it. Having said that, I could see co-op going a long way towards making these games fun. I find replaying frustrating segments in co-op a little more bearable. Anyone else think the "Derrick" scene at the begining of Gears of War 2 is frustrating? I do, I guess I couldn't figure it out, but I kept dying and I was really sick of it. Then becca and I played through it and even though we died a couple times, we got through it and it didn't seem as bad. So I could see where co op might help this game. Too bad I don't have a PS3, or Ninja Gaiden 2 for that matter, but that won't stop me from posting some of the screens that I lifted from D'toid:

Chemistry

Jeff just tweeted this to me. It's a student film that Steve Koncelik made which starred Jeff, Jerry, John and Aisatou (who sadly is not a friend of mine on face book, where are you Aisatou?). Anyway, this video has a pretty well edited soundtrack of electro songs that were big at the time, but it does not have the original soundtrack that jeff recorded on his Amiga with a bunch of old MOD files. Still it was a great blast from the past. Enjoy:

If there is one game that broke my heart, it was StarCraft Ghost.

In addition to the from the Resident Evil 5 concept art I just Game of the Art also posted a HUGE pile of concept art from Blizzard's perpetually in development(quietly canceled?) StarCraft Ghost, a third person action game for last gen consoles.

I remember reading a preview of this game way back in a 2003 issue of game informer. Being a huge star craft fan, I was totally geeked out for this. I played a bit of the XBox version at E3 2005 and while it wasn't perfect it was good enough that I felt that the eventually release would make for one amazing game.

However the game was eventually "shelved" but I'm sure I'm not alone in holding out hope that this game will eventually see the light of day. Until that day you can click through some of these amazing pieces of concept art for that apepar to be from various different segments of the games long and troubled development:

Thanks to my buddy John Wallis, who pointed out this lovely version of nova from Ryan Kinnaird's Deviant Art page:
